A little about my tattooing history...
I began studying and collecting tattoos in 1986. I spent numerous hours with local artist acquiring information and techniques. In 1995 I started working at Skinsations Tattoo in Aberdeen, WA. May 5th, 1998, I opened Gargoyle Tattoo. Since then my art has been published in Tabu Tattoo, International Tattoo Art, Tattoo Flash, Tattoo Revue and Savage magazines. In September 2001, I worked my first tattoo convention Hell Fire Tattoo Expo - Street Vibrations in Reno, NV. At this convention I won my first award for Best Overall Female. I have also worked Idaho Spring Fever Tattoo Expo 2002, the 3rd Annual East TN Tattoo Fest 2002, Olympia’s Inkfest 2002, Lady Luck Tattoo Expo 2003, Vancouver Inkfest 2003-2004-2005-2006-2007-2008-2009, CDA casino 2004, and Central Maine Tattoo Arts Expo 2004.
Early 2002 I joined the APT as a professional member and took the blood borne pathogens class on July 5th, 2002. Other awards I have won include (but are not limited to): Best Female Leg (Idaho), Best Overall Female (Vancouver ‘03), Tattoo of the Day (CDA casino), Tattoo of the Day (Bangor - Maine), Best Overall Color Female (Bangor - Maine), Best Old School (CDA casino), Best Booth (Bangor - Maine), Best Old School (Bangor - Maine),5 artist awards (Bangor - Maine), 2nd place Best Realistic (Bangor - Maine), 2nd place Best Cover Up (Bangor - Maine), 2nd place Best Black and Grey (Bangor - Maine), 2nd place Best Small Color (Spokane), 2nd place Best Old School (Olympia), 2nd place Best Tribal (Olympia), 2nd place Best Color Sleeve (Olympia), 2nd place Best Old School (Vancouver ‘03), 2nd place Best Tribal (Vancouver ‘05), 2nd place Best Triabal (Vancouver '08), 3rd place Best Small Color (Bangor - Maine), and 3rd place Overall Female (Olympia).
